The design of MIKIOSAKABE is fused with "Tomie", a masterpiece by Junji Ito, a master of horror manga that Japan is proud of.
A unique collection has been created that expresses the world view of the work.

Shoes Line Up

A total of nine items will be released, including footwear with MIKIOSAKABE's original sole "New "Jewelry".

In addition to the design that adopts the new footbed "Whipper",
The soles and uppers are printed with memorable scenes from "Tomie."

Clothing Line Up

The items are dyed and washed to give them a deep texture, and the designs incorporate the world of Tomie while also blending into everyday styling.

Junji Ito Profile

Born on July 31, 1963 in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture.
After graduating from high school, he enrolled in a dental technician school and got a job. When the Umezu Award, a prize for new manga artists, was established in "Monthly Halloween" (Asahi Sonorama), he submitted his work with the sole desire to have it read by Umezu Kazuo.
In 1986, he won the Jyusaku Award for his submitted work "Tomie." This work became his debut and most famous work. Three years later, he quit dental technology to devote himself to manga artistry. He produced masterpieces such as "A Town Without Roads," "The Balloon with a Neck," the "Fuu-" series, and "Lovesickness of the Dead." In 1998, he began serializing "Uzumaki" in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" (Shogakukan). He continued to publish unique works such as "Gyo" and "Kusudan."
In 2019, Junji Ito's Masterpiece Collection Volume 10: Frankenstein (English version) won the "Best Comic Adaptation Award" at the Eisner Awards, one of the most prestigious manga awards in the world. In 2021, he won the same award in two categories, and in 2022, achieving the remarkable feat of winning the award a total of four times.
In 2023, it received the Special Honor Award at the Angoulême International Comics Festival in France, and the Inkpot Award at the San Diego Comic-Con in the United States, receiving high praise not only in Japan but also overseas.
